 Our Location  James Bay Wild Fruit started as a small family business in the early 1960's. It still operates very much the same as it did back then. Small quantities of Wild Blueberries are hand picked in different locations in natural forests. These small quantities are consolidated to supply the central Canada markets. Northern Ontario handpicked Wild Blueberries are recognized throughout central Canada for their high-quality cosmetic appearance and freshness. With almost 40 years of experience, our family business has come to recognize other consumer needs. Even though the season is over near the end of August, we have all the blueberries that anyone would need. Whether you use them in the home or for manufacturing, they are always ready for shipping. Our blueberries are naturally frozen and contaminant free, and because they come from the forests they are truly organic. We have made it possible for our consumers to purchase our fresh, in season blueberries directly from the source. We have a large retail location situated in the Muskoka cottage country just south of Gravenhurst on Highway 11 in the southbound lane just before Tim Hortons Donuts.  You'll find us there with fresh morning picked Wild Blueberries, fresh made pies and frozen blueberries. You'll also find our very own freshly bottled maple syrup along with a wide variety of jams and jellies. At our North Bay location, you will find all our extensive selection of Wild Blueberries, jams, jellies, home baked goods, maple syrup and a large variety of fruits and vegetables from our gardens. Here in the fall, kids from all area schools come to visit us to enjoy the hay rides and perhaps pick out a pumpkin, or snack on a apple or two.
